The Get Together 2 XL is like the leader of the Get Together family. It makes your music time awesome and turns any get-together into a lively party with music, laughter, and shared moments. Using just one speaker won't be enough when it's time to gather, so the Get Together 2 XL lets you connect up to 3 speakers, creating a lively sound that gets everyone involved in the fun.
In terms of design, the Get Together 2 XL has a familiar look as it is essentially an enlarged version of the Get Together 2 Mini Bluetooth speaker. The enclosure of the Get Together 2 XL is crafted from bamboo, with fabric covering the side panels, top side, and base. The front highlights the natural bamboo, while the back is rubberized and includes a rear-facing connectivity port hidden, concealed by a thick rubber cover that ensures dust and water resistance.
The connection ports include a
rapid-charging USB-C port, a 3.5mm AUX port, and a USB-A port with
power bank capability, enabling you to charge external devices.
There is also passthrough audio whilst charging in bluetooth and wired
modes, which means you can charge the speaker when listing to audio. Battery life is around 19 hours on medium volume.
On the backside, there is also a large passive radiator branded with a Marley bamboo plate. For stability and vibration reduction, the base is equipped with two thick rubber strips that also serve as isolating pads to minimize unwanted vibrations when placing the speaker on a desk. The sides feature convenient attachments for a shoulder strap, employing sturdy and secure metal rod ladderlocks to facilitate easy carrying of the Get Together 2 XL on the shoulder. Interestingly, a shoulder strap is not provided with the speaker.
On the front, there are two 4-inch rubber woofer cones, metal logo branding and two 1-inch tweeters, protected by a tough steel guard. Up at the top, there are four buttons, onboard mic for speakerphone mode and a volume knob for controlling play/pause, track skipping, calls, multi pairing and EQ modes. Now, the volume knob can smoothly turn without set limits for quiet or loud. But the cool part is, as you turn it, you'll feel these little bumps that help you make small, precise changes to the volume, so it's just right for you. Both the volume knob and buttons are made from anodized aluminum.
The volume knob has a light that shows if you're listening or charging. The buttons feel good and won't rattle. They help you control music, adjust settings like Bass Boost, Acoustic, and Marley Signature Sound, and connect with up to 3 speakers. Not all Bluetooth speakers can do this "multi-pair" thing, which is handy for better sound.

Each Get
Together speaker can make 60 watts of sound. Connecting 3 makes it
really loud – 180 watts loud. But even one is great for filling a big
room with clear, deep bass. However, the sound might not spread as wide
as some bookshelf speakers like the Get Together Duo.
The dimensions
of the Get Together 2 XL speaker are 44.9cm long x 17.9cm deep x
18cm (including knob). The knob measures 1cm high. The weight is 5.3kg.
