The treble range is wider than the bass (80Hz-20kHz) so the speaker favors treble frequencies over bass frequencies. With that said, the overall audio quality is balanced and pretty impressive too, considering the size of the Sensport Rave Model 1 speaker (16.5cm long,7.8cm wide and 4.3 high).
The Sensport Rave Model 1 doesn't require batteries thanks to a rechargeable 3600mAh battery built-into the speaker. The battery charges via a maximum of 5V 1A input power so charging time is 4.5 hours to fully charge the battery.
Battery life is fairly long (15+ hours) when playing music at 50% volume but decreases down to 6 hours when playing music at 100% volume.
Sensport Rave Model 1 speaker incorporates an auxiliary socket so you can play audio from non-Bluetooth devices via the included 3.5mm audio cable. Having an auxiliary in is great because you can plug your phone in when not using the speaker wirelessly via bluetooth.
There is also a card reader slot to listen to music without a phone or tablet. The memory card slot support micro SD cards up to 32GB size.
The micro USB port you see next to the auxiliary-in is the charging port. A micro USB charging cable is also supplied with the Sensport Rave Model 1.
When connected to your smartphone, the Sensport Rave Model 1 acts as a powerful handsfree speakerphone which comes in handy for conference calls so several people can talk at the same time.
