9 Facts About The Nintendo Switch Games Console!

FACT 1: The Nintendo Switch is Nintendo's seventh home console which will be launching on early March of 2017.
FACT 2: The Nintendo Switch is a "hybrid"console. meaning you can connect it to a TV (TV-mode via Switch Dock) or use it similarly to a personal tablet computer (Tabletop Mode via Joy-Con controllers).
FACT 3: Nintendo Switch uses detachable controllers, called Joy-Con, which can be used as a single gamepad or used similarly to a Wii Remote as two individual game controllers.

FACT 4: The Switch's main unit (the Console) uses a non-replaceable 4310mAh Lithium-ion rechargeable battery and features a 6-inch ten-point multi-touch capacitive LCD screen that supports resolutions up to 1080p (while docked) and 720p while on the go. The Console includes a 3.5 mm audio jack, Game Card slot, microSDXC slot, stereo speakers, a USB-C charging port and a kickstand on the back side.

FACT 5: Nintendo Switch's Joy-Con controllers are motion-sensitive and support both physical flash ROM cartridges and digital content for games and software.
FACT 6: Nintendo Switch's main game title, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" was originally meant to be a Wii U-exclusive game title, which will run at a maximum 900p at 30 frames per second while docked.

FACT 7: The Switch is not meant to be a replacement for the Nintendo 3DS and is neither a successor to the Wii U.


FACT 8: The Nintendo Switch will support many additional accessories, such as carrying cases and screen protectors

FACT 9: The Nintendo Switch started development two years ago, in March, 2015, and the originally name for the Nintendo Switch was NX, later becoming "Switch" to symbolize the console's ability to switch from handheld mode to TV mode.
