Yantouch EyE LED Bluetooth Speaker Light With Swiss Horn Bass!

Saturday, June 25, 2016

Up for review today is a speaker like no other I have come across before. It's called EyE and it's essentially a speaker with a Swiss horn-like resonance tube and built-in lighting system that syncs with the music you're playing, as well as simulate the sunrise and sunset, making it a great solution for insomniacs and heavy sleepers alike!

You actually get best of "three worlds" as you can use the EyE as an sleeping aid at night and a sunrise simulator clock to simulate the early morning sunrise.
The EyE lighting system works by using a 400 lumen white LED for illumination and a RGB LEDs (red, green and blue) for mood to produce soft and bright light.

When the EyE lighting synchronizes with the music, the frequency range is visually displayed via the colors blue (bass), red (trebles) and green (mids).

The EyE is powered on by extending the stand on the back, which also doubles up as a support stand and handle to hook the unit on a wall. To power off the EyE, you simply retract the handle.

The EyE has built-in a 2600 mAh Li-ion battery which charges quickly and gives around 10 hours of play/light time.

EyE uses Bluetooth 4.0, A2DP, SPP and supports True Wireless Stereo (TWS), which allows the EyE to connect with another EyE for true stereo sound.

To pair two EyE's together, you simply place them left and right and then extend the stands for the units to automatically pair. You can move both EyE speakers 5 meters away from each other.

You can sync the lighting to the music playing, and even record the light pattern with the music via the HueDJ app, which is a cool smartphone app for iOS and Android that allows you to control the Yantouch EyE speaker light/music (the HueDJ app also doubles up as a remote to control the unit).
Inside the box, you also get an IR remote control, as well as a velvet pouch and micro USB cable. With the IR remote control you can skip forward/skip back tracks, control the brightness of the lighting, volume up/down, power On/Off the unit, as well as check the battery status of the unit.

The Bluetooth range is about 30 feet (10m) long so you can move the speakers a fair distance from each other. Below is some cool footage of Yantouch's Eye LED speakers in action:
